Q: How much do GoShare drivers make?
A: GoShare drivers earn between $47.52 – $61.92 per hour depending on the type of vehicle you own. You can earn more for a job well done with tips. Apply now.
Q: Why does it say that my account is blocked by admin?
A: After you apply to become a driver we will review your application and email you with the next steps. Your account will remain blocked until you complete the entire on-boarding process.
Q: What are the steps to becoming a GoShare driver?
A: First, apply online. Second, watch orientation and pass test online. Third, complete vehicle inspection. Fourth, Pass background check. Fifth, document verification.
Q: Will I receive a 1099 or W2 for tax purposes?
Q: How can I help with marketing?
A: Every driver is given a unique promo code. You can easily share your promo code via social media, text, email or on your personal business cards and truck magnets. When a customer uses your promo code they will save 5% on their first delivery and you will receive their request first. You will have one minute to accept the request before it goes out to our team of drivers. You can find your promo code in the driver app by hitting the Invite Friends button on the menu. You can also find the promo code by logging into your account on our website. Through our new partnership with VistaPrint you can now order GoShare business cards and truck magnets customized with your name and promo code by clicking here.
Q: My vehicle was made before year 2001, can I still drive for GoShare?
A: Our insurance requires that all driver vehicles are year 2001 or newer. In this case you may still be eligible to be a Helper. To learn more about Helpers click here.
Q: When do I get paid?
A: It usually takes 3-7 days after you complete your Project before the money will be transferred into your account. If you are missing a payment or have questions about a payment you can contact us.
Q: How do I get paid?
A: All payments will be sent through direct deposit or through our bank’s online payment system. Our bank is Chase.
Q: I saw a Project request come in and then it disappeared?
A: This means that another driver has accepted the request. When a new request comes in it is sent to the entire team of drivers. The first person to accept the request will get the Project.
Q: Can a customer ride in my vehicle?
Q: I tried to enter my vehicle info but I’m unable to enter the vehicle model?
A: This may be an issue with your browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Internet Explorer). Try opening this link in a new browser or in a different window in the same browser. You can also try clearing your Cache in browser. If your problem persists or you see a list of vehicles but don’t see your truck or van listed you can contact us. We are only looking for pickup trucks, cargo vans, and box trucks.
Q: How much work can I expect to get from GoShare?
A: GoShare drivers are independent contractors and are able to work when they want. The number of projects that you can get from GoShare will vary based on your location, vehicle type, and availability. It should be considered a part time opportunity for now.
Q: Are there any costs involved with joining GoShare?
A: Before you can join GoShare you must pass a background check. Delivery Professionals are responsible for the costs of the background check which is $45 ($65 if in N.Y.). This fee is non refundable.
Q: I am a GoShare Driver/Helper. Can I be removed from the platform?
A: Yes, you can be removed from the platform for violating our terms of service. Violations include but are not limited to: stealing, manipulating the price, multiple one star reviews from customers, multiple job cancellations without good cause, regularly being late to projects, providing false information, recklessly damaging a customers item, knowingly transporting illegal or prohibited items.
Q: Do I need special insurance
A: You must carry valid vehicle and health insurance in accordance with your state and federal laws. GoShare provides supplemental insurance in case of an accident.
Q: I lost or damaged a customer’s item during delivery, am I responsible for the damage?
A: Yes, if you lose or break a customer’s item you are responsible for fixing or replacing the items up to the cost of our deductible of $250.

A: It typically takes 2-7 days to complete the background check once you have submitted your information to our background check partner.

Q: Do customers rate each driver individually on a two person project?
A: Yes, each driver is rated individually
Q: Why do some email alerts have project details and some do not?
A: Sometimes we have to send requests manually if the customer made a change to the date/time/vehicle type. When we send manual emails they will include more details about the project. You can reply to the email to accept these projects. Automated emails that are generated when a new order comes in do not include details. You will need to log into the app to accept these requests.
